Board of Directors

Members in the Board of Directors are volunteers for the ASCM Oregon Chapter. Their main role is to serve the membership by hosting relevant events, communicating to members ASCM topics, connecting businesses, engaging students, and improving the chapter.

Directors serve one-year terms helping to maintain and grow the Oregon Chapter and its membership. All director positions in the Board of Directors are appointed by the President and the rest of the board. Elections are held once a year during our Membership Night, which typically takes place in May, where the membership will vote on the Executive Board of Director positions (President, Executive Vice President, and Treasurer). Members on the board can serve up to three consecutive years in the same position, except for the President, who can only serve two consecutive years.

To be a part of the ASCM Oregon Chapter Board of Directors, feel free to attend one of our board meetings and tell us about yourself and how you would like to contribute. Our board meetings are completely open to the public and our membership. Do note that currently, all positions for the Board of Directors have been filled. However, do not let that discourage you from volunteering at a different capacity.

Our Legacy

We believe that part of what makes the ASCM Oregon Chapter so successful is that we are always building on our previous efforts and achievements. The chapter has grown and adapted over the years and we could not have made it to where we are today without the support of our previous board of directors.
