What is ASCM?

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is the global leader in supply chain organizational transformation, innovation, and leadership. It is the largest non-profit association for supply chain connecting with companies around the world to the newest thought leadership on all aspects of supply chain. ASCM is driving innovation in the industry with new products, services and partnerships that enable companies to further optimize their supply chains, and secure their competitive advantage. ASCM acts an umbrella association for APICS around the globe in which the ASCM Oregon Chapter is a part of.

 

The ASCM Oregon Chapter (formerly "APICS Portland")

The ASCM Oregon Chapter consists of 400+ members and students members, represented by over 80 companies and major colleges in the Pacific Northwest. The chapter has been active since 1976, where we grew from a very small chapter to one where it is consistently ranking high among all of the chapters in the nation. We have members ranging from planners, buyers, and inventory specialists to managers, directors, and CEOs participating at our monthly professional development meetings catered towards the community's needs and interests.

As volunteers in our organization, we strive to continue to listen, adapt, engage, and innovate for our membership and to bring awareness to the importance of a good supply chain.
